The business has been established for over 15 years and has helped lead the development of production techniques to achieve high yields of quality mussels. It currently produces between 250 - 300 tonnes of mussels per year, from a total Scottish output of 3,600 tonnes. There is potential within existing leases to increase output to 400 tonnes per year within 2 - 3 years.

The four production sites are located on a sheltered sea loch and are all within easy reach of the company’s own pier. The area is renowned for its natural beauty and is amongst some of Scotland’s finest scenery. It is also within easy driving distance the Central Belt, with easy access to markets.
